This is a picture of my Real and Nonsense Sort being used in my classroom.  My students decided to use the mini pocket charts to sort the words.  Sometimes my students put the spaghetti on the floor or on the table and then put the meatballs on top of the spaghetti.  This product can be found in my TpT store at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Real-and-Nonsense-Sort-with-CVC-Words

This is my first blog and I am really excited to be on this new adventure!  I sell on TpT and decided that I needed a blog, a facebook page, and all my products linked on Pinterest as well.  Please see the right side of my blog for links to all these pages.

I have taught kindergarten for 3 years, 1st grade for 7 years, and 2nd grade for 3 years.  I have to say that currently my favorite is 2nd grade.  I love working with that age group!  The 2nd graders are old enough to create projects and work on activities that the younger kids aren't able to do yet.

As my name implies, I love to go camping.  My family and I own a travel trailer that has all the comforts of home.  It is so relaxing to sit at the campsite to read, relax, or visit with family.  This is our 2nd camper.  We started out with a pop-up and then graduated to the travel trailer.  We may move up to a larger travel trailer or fifth-wheel in the future.  Someday, I would like to drive across the country in our camper.  I have never seen the Pacific Ocean and many other places in our wonderful country!  As it stands we have only camped in 5 states.

When I have time, I also like to quilt.  I started quilting when I was a teenager.  I used to sew a lot, but teaching and raising a family makes free time a rarity.  Now that my children are older I am able to spend more time with my favorite hobbies.  I also plan on restoring my childhood dollhouse.  I'd like to clean it up and buy some miniature furniture for it.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
