About Me!

Lynn is an elementary school teacher in North Carolina. Her experience has spanned over two decades beginning her career in Virginia teaching 1st graders at an inner-city school. Since then, Lynn has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and combination classes in the foothills of North Carolina. She has always serviced low-income students and makes it a priority to treat her students the way she wants her own children to be treated. Lynn is currently living with her husband and is the proud mother to a hard-working daughter, gifted in photography, and a son currently away at a university majoring in computer science and math.

Lynn is a very animated and hands-on teacher. She believes that children need to move and interact with each other; that socialization is just as important to learn as all the skills she teaches. She strives to maintain a quality relationship with her students, as well as their parents, that consists of trust and respect. As a mother herself, she treats her students and parents the way she wants her children and herself to be treated by educators. In addition, it is her mission to teach character education to her students so that they may go through life with kindness and and a positive attitude as they reach their goals.
